Abstract: 

Purpose: This research seeks to identify and rank factors affecting (RFID)'s adoption and is based on the theory of diffusion of innovation in public libraries. Methodology: 13 variables in three categories, namely technical, organizational, and environmental were examined. A questionnaire with 30 questions was designed and distributed among 320 librarians in 68 public libraries in the cities of Shiraz and Kerman. Respondents were selected by simple random sampling. 193 completed questionnaires were returned. SPSS and LISREL were used for descriptive and inferential statistical analysis (t-test, structural equation model and TOPSIS). Findings: All identified factors have some effect on the use of (RFID) technology. Also all identified affecting factors of (RFID) adoption have correlation as an overall structure. The model is suitable in terms of fitness indexes. Ultimately, factors ranking revealed that the most important one is the cost. Originality/Value: The findings indicate the necessity of carefully considering adoption of the technology. What we found what needs to be considered to prevent the failure of the project and waste of funds.

Abstract: 

Today, technologies based on IoT are growing in many industrial areas. One of the most Fundamental technologies in IoT devices is (RFID) industry that has been widespread in many other fields of technology. (RFID) tags are used from supply chain to security issues and electronic passports. Cellular phones can play a significant role in the area of mobile advertising and they can operate as advertisement receivers from (RFID) tags that have been installed on objects in the environment. However, due to lower costs of this new advertising technology, advertisements in this channel will be more widespread; and then we would have a new portal for spams. The purpose of this article is suggesting a framework for advertising to smart mobile devices on IoT while preventing spam in ad-box. Framework and protocols expressed in this article have introduced a new generation of Mobile Advertising for which we call “ Intelligent Mobile Advertising” or IM-Advertising. Unlike other spam prevention solutions that are used in other portals such as e-mail, our solution will power Ads and also it captures customer attention in an intelligent style. The Customer will only receive the ads which he specified, by type and benefits, and other ads will not enter his smart mobile system as spams. Also our suggested solution would not need any spam detection system and it is based on a fully legal framework. It makes our customer interested and at the same time collects valuable marketing information.

Abstract: 

RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION OR (RFID) DETECTION SYSTEM IS A NEW INNOVATION IN THE VALUE CHAIN OF HEALTH CARE AND CREATES A GLOBAL HEALTH COORDINATION AND COORDINATION SYSTEM IN THE WORLD. IF THIS INFORMATION IS SUCCESSFUL AND COLLECTED IN DATABASES, IT IS POSSIBLE TO EXCHANGE THIS INFORMATION BETWEEN PATIENTS AND DOCTORS IN ANY AREA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES GOVERNING HEALTH SYSTEMS IN A TIMELY MANNER. HOWEVER, FOR ORGANIZATIONS, COLLECTING LARGE AMOUNTS OF DATA AND TRACKING AND QUERYING IS NOT ENOUGH. (RFID)-BASED DECISION MAKING BRINGS MORE VALUE TO THE ORGANIZATION AND INCREASES THE EFFICIENCY OF PRODUCTION. (RFID) USES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) TECHNOLOGY AND DATA MINING TO ANALYZE AND INTERPRET A LARGE AMOUNT OF DATA IN ORDER TO SUPPORT RESOLUTION. THEREFORE, A II-(RFID) SYSTEM IS PROPOSED THAT INTEGRATES (RFID) DATA WITH A SMART DECISION SYSTEM.RESEARCH ON DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS FOR THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE THESE SYSTEMS CAN IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF HEALTHCARE IN DIFFERENT WAYS. THE AREAS IN WHICH THESE SYSTEMS ARE USED ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE STORAGE OF MEDICAL RECORDS (TEMPERATURE, BLOOD PRESSURE, LABORATORY RESULTS, MEDICATION LECITHIN, EVEN SENSITISER LIST, ETC.) TO TEST AND EVALUATE THE DATA COLLECTED FROM THE MONITORS.. THESE SYSTEMS HELP DOCTORS AND NURSES TO DIAGNOSE AND TREAT VARIOUS DISEASES.

Abstract: 

The ability to easily and quickly access information through RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION ((RFID)) systems has led to the ever-expanding use of this technology in a variety of usages such as tactical applications. This technology provides the conditions for better situational awareness in tactical environments or logistics. But, on the other hand, the process of IDENTIFICATION in a scenario with different and numerous actors, faces the collision challenge. The collision of tags in (RFID) systems is inevitable, and it affects the performance of (RFID) systems, especially in environments with a large number of tags. In this report, a hybrid (of ALOHA and tree-based) anti-collision protocol is proposed. In the provided protocol, each frame and slot have prefixes, and in each slot, tags whose identities match the prefixes of the frame and the slot, send their responses to the reader. In this protocol, using the Manchester Coding method, the position of the collision bits is specified, and then collision tags are split into separate subgroups to reduce the collision rate in the IDENTIFICATION process. The simulation results of this protocol indicate that compared to other benchmark protocols, the IDENTIFICATION time and the bit number of transferred tags in the proposed method are lower, which improve its performance.

Abstract: 

This paper presents a study on applying an integrated application of RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION ((RFID)), Global Position System (GPS) and Geographical Information System (GIS) technology for ubiquitous tracking and location of construction resource (e.g. materials). Accurate and timely IDENTIFICATION and tracking of resource (e.g. materials) are vital to operating a well managed and cost efficient construction project. (RFID) integrated with the GPS provides an opportunity to uniquely identify materials and to locate and track them using minimal or no worker input where GIS will be used for analyzing collected data. (RFID) will be used for monitoring the resource in a construction phase and GPS will monitor the transport equipment of them. In this research, the proposed system can assist engineers in controlling and monitoring the construction resource in a real time basis.

Abstract: 

Processing and recovery is a key functional element in municipal solid waste management system (MSWMS). Reuse, recycle and recovery of valuable components of waste stream are given much attention in MSWMS in both developed and developing countries. The main concern of municipalities is the sound management of recyclable materials. Source separation as a best practice for management of trash and recyclable materials is known to every municipalities. Since 1980 many technologies are used in recycling industry. Many municipalities are learning the importance of new technologies in recycling industries, such as RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION ((RFID)). This technology has been used widely by many organizations in some industrialized countries. RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION is a tagging system for automatic IDENTIFICATION of recyclable components of municipal solid waste stream. This paper reveals some applications of (RFID) technology in Product self-management, with emphasize on municipal solid waste management as well as environmental implications of (RFID). Broad usage of (RFID) tags on consumer products bears risks of dissipating both toxic and valuable substances, and could disrupt the established recycling processes. This causes a potential mid-or-long term risks with respect to resource management and pollution control. However, these risks could be avoided or mitigated applying precautionary principle in the early stage of development of (RFID) technology.

Abstract: 

هدف: سیستم شناسایی از طریق فرکانس رادیویی RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION, (RFID)))یکی از فناوری های شناسایی خودکار محسوب می شود که از امواج رادیویی برای جمع آوری داده و انتقال آن استفاده می کند و با توجه به کاربرد وسیع در ردیابی و شناسایی افراد و اشیا توانسته بسیاری از مشکلات بیمارستانی را برطرف و به افزایش کیفیت ارائه خدمات کمک شایانی نماید. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی ارتباط بین عوامل موثر در اجرای فناوری شناسایی از طریق فرکانس رادیویی انجام شد. مواد و روشها: این مطالعه از نوع کاربردی است که به صورت مقطعی در سال 1394 و در بیمارستان های آموزشی وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی سمنان در کشور ایران انجام شد. داده ها با استفاده از پرسش نامه جمع آوری و با نرم افزارهای(SPSS16) و لیزرل(LISREL 8. 8) و به روش تحلیل مسیر آنالیز گردید. یافته ها: میانگین هر سه متغیر وضعیت نیروی انسانی، فرهنگی و سازمانی در وضعیت مطلوب و بالایی قرار داشت. یافته ها حاکی از آن است که ضریب پیش بینی وضعیت فرهنگی نیروهای بیمارستان برای اجرای فناوری مورد نظر معنادار می باشد (T>2). نتیجه گیری: از آن جا که دیدگاه های کاربران در فرایند اجرای (RFID) بسیار مهم و کاربردی است می بایست نظرات این ذینفعان را که نقش حیاتی در موفقیت و یا شکست و ارزیابی دقیق منابع مورد نیاز سیستم ایفا می کنند در نظر گرفت.

Abstract: 

(RFID) has lots of potential benefits for supply chain management; that’s why it has attracted many industry practitioners all around the world, especially in recent years. (RFID) is one of the key solutions that information technology has provided for industry. The main issue in implementing and also developing this unique technology in the supply chain management of every industry appears to be the cost. This research would study this issue and its factors among other important issues of (RFID) development in the supply chain management of Iran's automotive industry. The results indicate that there is an exaggeration in counting the importance of cost issue in the development of (RFID) technology in supply chain management processes.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Automatic IDENTIFICATION and data collection without the need for frequent human intervention is an undeniable necessity in health control. Among a variety of methods, RADIO-FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION ((RFID)) is known for this characteristic and can be used for the online process of sending and receiving information. This study was conducted to determine the role of this technology in the effectiveness of treatment and care at hospitals affiliated to Kashan University of Medical Sciences, Iran, from the point of view of its users.Methods: This was an applied, descriptive, and the cross-sectional research. The statistical sample consisted of 72 physicians and nurses of hospitals affiliated to Kashan University of Medical Sciences selected through stratified sampling method. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire the validity and reliability of which were, respectively, confirmed by a group of experts and using Cronbach's alpha coefficient (α=0.89). Data were analyzed using chi- square test.Results: According to the results, 84% of the participants believed that (RFID) tags lead to the improvement of detection, diagnosis, IDENTIFICATION, and automated reception of information in treatment and care. The attitude of the studied population toward (RFID) components was favorable in improving treatment and care in terms of effective detection (17.05), diagnosis (16.27), automated reception, collection of information (15.54), and IDENTIFICATION (14.8).Conclusion: The favorable attitude of the participants shows that the use of (RFID) in the studied hospitals was effective in improving treatment and care for the patients.

Abstract: 

Introduction: RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION ((RFID)) is a type of automatic IDENTIFICATION technology which uses RADIO waves for collecting and transferring data. Due to extensive use in tracking and identifying people and objects, this technology has been able to solve many of the hospital's problems and help to increase the quality of delivery of services. The aim of this study was to survey the relationship between effective factors in the implementation of (RFID). Materials and Methods: This is an applicable study conducted as a cross‑ sectional study in 2015. The study was conducted in the hospitals affiliated to Semnan University of Medical Sciences. Data were collected using questionnaires. The validity and reliability of the questionnaires were assessed, and data were analyzed using SPSS (Version 16) and LISREL 8. 8, followed by conducting path analysis. Results: The average of all three variables human, cultural and organizational factors were in a desirable and high status from the Stakeholders’ viewpoint. Considerably, present findings indicate that the predictive coefficient of cultural readiness of hospitals is meaningful for the implementation of the proposed technology. (T>2) Conclusion: Since users' views in (RFID) implementation are very important and useful, therefore, we must consider the views of these stakeholders that which play a critical role in the success or failure and accurate assessment of the resources required for the system.
